Certifications

The airworthiness assurance of products manufactured by IAR S.A. is carried out through the Airworthiness Team – its own organizational structure composed of highly qualified personnel, with appropriate facilities and equipment, having responsibilities, procedures and resources to fulfill the requirements and objectives of aircraft airworthiness assurance.

IAR S.A. is authorized by Airbus Helicopters as a service provider for: maintenance of PUMA and 316B helicopter structures, maintenance of 316B equipment, manufacture of spare parts (structure and structural parts) for PUMA and 316B helicopters, laboratory testing and metrology.

IAR S.A. is certified by the Armaments Department of the Ministry of National Defence in accordance with AQAP 2110 (NATO requirement) for the design and production of aircraft, aviation systems and equipment, modernization of aeronautical products, aircraft spare parts, inspections, testing, maintenance and repair of aeronautical products.
